Career Wardrobe is a nonprofit social enterprise organization that uses clothing and professional development to empower unemployed individuals to enter the workforce. We are funded by private foundations, individuals, corporations and government partners. Since 1995, we have assisted over 80,000 women. In 2015, we started the Make It Work Men's Suite to give me access to professional clothing and job search support. In 2016, our services expanded to the six-county region, opening a Career Wardrobe Boutique in Delaware and Bucks Counties, and creating a strategic partnership with nonprofit organizations in Chester, Berks, and Montgomery Counties.
Career Wardrobe's mission is to empower women to work. We do this by providing the professional clothing and professional development opportunities that instill self-confidence. Join us by volunteering, donating or shopping!
If you are local to Philadelphia, clothing donations may be made at The Wardrobe Boutique, 1822 Spring Garden Street (19th & Spring Garden Sts) Monday - Saturday, 12pm - 6pm. We also accept donations in Delaware County (Chester, PA) and Bucks County (Bristol, PA) by appointment. For a list of local clothing drives, visit www.careerwardrobe.org
